Coastline Apartments, a privately owned apartment community in Virginia Beach, VA, has been providing housing for renters since 1970. When they first began their SEO campaign with us in March of 2020, they had 0 keywords ranking well on Google.

Angie Lombardi, The Vice President of Marketing at The Franklin Johnston Group, partnered with GREENstick to gain online traction for their newly renovated two-bedroom apartments and drive more qualified traffic to the community’s website.

During the first month of service, we laid a strong foundation for their SEO campaign by auditing and optimizing their website. We adjusted title tags, meta descriptions, H1 tags, and alt image tags so Google could crawl and index their website.

After that, we worked with our client on dedicating new pages for the different floor plans they provided and created custom content for each page. Rather than a generic services page, we had dedicated pages for one-bedroom apartments, two-bedroom apartments, and three-bedroom apartments.

 

In addition, the client committed to improving their online reputation, necessary to build trust and authority with the major search engines. When starting the campaign, our client’s business had an all-time average rating of 2.8 on Google and only 1% recommended on Facebook. Each month the site team successfully obtained 4 new customer ratings and reviews on average. Today, the client is trending to achieve a 4.3 out of 5 stars on Google, and 86% Recommended score on Facebook.

Chris also worked as the National Marketing Manager for Fore Property Company, where he ran the lease-up efforts for new apartment developments in Denver, Las Vegas, Pittsburgh, Orlando, and Portland. Prior to joining Fore Property Company, Christopher managed the advertising for over 150 multifamily communities at CoStar, a commercial real estate information and marketing provider based in Washington, D.C.
